Jako první je u Lindos potřeba upozornit na jednu věc – existuje stará rybářská vesnička Lindos a existuje záliv Lindos, který je od “toho hezkého“ cca 5 km vzdálen. České CK nabízejí často pod názvem střediska Lindos právě záliv Lindos, kde je pláž Vlicha a menší hotelové komplexy. Záliv je široký asi kilometr a po celé jeho délce se táhne široká pláž z drobných oblázků.
