More informationOnce you book the trip with Shiva Excursion, we follow it in the formal way, and we have some policies for trip cancelation or postpone. If you cancel the trip before 2 months, advance payment (i.e. 20%) will be nonrefundable. In case of 1 month, 30% of the total trip cost will be deducted 50% of the total trip cost will be deducted in 2 weeks time In less than 3 days, you will not be refunded the trip cost Note: On the peak season the Lukla flight will be operated from Ramechhap (6 hr drive from Kathmandu). and the weather could make impact on the flight. In such case, we recommended to carry extra cash for Helicopter.
Arrival to Kathmandu.There will be a warm welcome to you on Nepal after landing your flight at TIA. Representative of Shiva Excursion Pvt. Ltd. will there for your arrival. He/she will shift you toward your place of accommodation. After having rest for some time there will a brief description of the upcoming program with your guide.Kathmandu exploration and preparation for trek.Our today’s day is spent by sightseeing all around Kathmandu Valley. Having a breakfast we will visit Pashupatinath (regarded as the holiest temple of Lord Shiva). Next will be Bauddhanath (Little Tibet). Then Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple) is our next destination. Lastly we will drive to Kathmandu (Basantpur) Durbar Square. It will end our Kathmandu tour we will return back & make preparation for our peak climbing.Fly to Lukla 2800m and trek to Chhutanga 3500mWe will take a small domestic plane from Katmandu to land at one of the most thrilling airport in the world at Lukla. In case of flight from Ramechhap we have to start our day almost on midnight. We need drive acout 3-4 hrs to reach Ramechhap. After taking senic flight to Lukla, the guide will indroduce you with porter before we start the trek. It will be a pleasent climbing through the villages and rodhodendren forest to reach Chhutanga. We will get some small tea house for tea break on the way but will reach Chhutanga for Lunch. Acclimatization at ChhutangaAs we dramatically gain the elevation on altitude, we need time to acclimatize our body. We will climb few hundred meters after the breakfast. We will have easy day as we are not going to different destination today. Chhutanga to Thulikharka via Zatra La -4700mWe will try to start our day quite earlier if possible as we have long and hard climb up for today. After having the breakfast on early morning, we will climb towards Zatra La pass via Kharketeng. We will take quick lunch at Kharketeng and resume our climb up. Around 3 hours of climb up from Kharketang will lead us to Zatra La. We will get small tea shop there. We wil celebrate Zatra La pass together with cup of tea. Another 2 hours will be required to get down to Thulikharka. Thulikharka to KotheEarly morning glorious view of sparkling mountains in rising sun will impress us so much. Walking slowly zigzag narrow path we will resume our remaining journey toward Thakthod from where we will get first glimpes of Mera Peak. We will further down to river after lunch at Thakthod. After reach the bank of river, we will walk through mozy forest to reach Kothe for comfortable stay.Kothe to ThangnagWe will walk on bank of the river on first part of our day. Beautiful waterfalls and eye-catching mountain view makes our journey easier. We will visit beautiful and small monestry before reach Thangnag. We will spend our night on lap of Himalaya. Thangnag to Khare-5000mToday we will continue walking to Khare. Walking on beautiful glacial rivers will be very much interesting. Some panoramic view of Charpate Himal and beautiful lakes on the way can seen during the trek. Having closer clear view of Mera Peak will make us pleasure. From here we can observe beautiful north faces of Mera peak.Acclimatization at KhareAs we already reach 5000m, we need another acclimatization before we summit the peak. We will spend our day with small hike and basic climbing training. We will make sure that all of our climbing gear are ready and fit to us properly. Khare to High camp -5700mOur today’s hike will be up to High camp just a bit to Mera peak. The first part of the climbing is almost a trek especially untill we reach the base camp. After reach the base camp, we will have to use proper climbing gear where our climbing guide will also help to put it on. We will have to spend our night at tented camp at elevation of 5700m. High camp to Mera peak summit and back to Khareoday is the day of fulfilling our program. We will climb up to summits & return back to the Khare. It will be a long climb as we need to return back to Khare. We will start the climb from midnight and walk carefully with decend pase until we reach on the top of Mera peak. On reaching on top we will be offered with panoramic view all around us. Spending our few precious time it will be time of our returning Journey. For memory we will capture picture in our camera. Lastly, we will return back & spend a relaxing night at land of Himalayas.Khare to KotheIt is the time of returning journey after completing our dream project. We will return back through the next track. We will be fully relaxed as our returning journey is very easy. We will be offered with the same things but our looking angle will be different. We will rest fully as we have just climbed up Mera peak.Kothe to Thuli KharkaIn our returning journey it will be so much easy in walking. We just need to trek downward following the main trial to reach Thuli Kharka. The same beauty of nature with mountain ranges from different angel will be so much impressive. Continuing in downhill track we will reach Thuli Kharka.Thuli Kharka to LuklaAs we have to walk back same way, you wold have already figured out the trails. We will walk about 3 hours of climbing up to reach the Zatra La and down long way to the Lukla. We will have a Lunch at Kharketeng or Chhutanga as per our required. Lukla to KathmanduWe will have early morning flight toward Kathmandu. It will be about half an hour of senic flight. We will be flying above the beautiful ranges of mountains. Lastly we will be shifted toward our hotel for our night and make preparation for tomorrow’s flight.Final DepartureSpending a rest night at Kathmandu, it’s a time for returning back to your home land. There will be a small farewell program for you. You will be guided all the things of returning journey by our team for your departure. Hope you will be back to Nepal to visit the remaining side of beautiful Nepal.

guideMichaela13:25 9. 5. 2025Sudip je ten nejlepší průvodce, jakého si můžete představit. Myslím a doufám, že se z nás během treku stali kamarádi. Je velmi chytrý, má velký přehled (nejen o Nepálu) a tak se s ním pobavíte opravdu o hodně věcech. Sudip mi byl oporou po celou dobu treku a nikdy jsem se necítila, že by mi něco chybělo. Během chození mi povídal o horách, které vidíme, hodně mi pověděl o nepálské kultuře, náboženství. Pokud jsme nepovídali, tak jsem si občas zazpívali se Spotify :D Když jsem potkala jiné lidi/skupinky na treku, tak se všichni divili, že mám tak fajn parťáka a ještě k tomu s takovou úrovní angličtiny :) Pokud bych šla další trek, Sudip by byl rozhodně člověk, se kterým bych další trek klidně znovu absolvovala. Takže doporučuji!
