The 15 Days Manaslu Circuit Trekking kicks off from the lower part of Manaslu, known as Soti Khola, which is located at about 10 hours' driving distance from Kathmandu. The ambitious journey on the Manaslu trekking route goes along the rapids of the Budi Gandaki River. You will cross the cantilever bridge, walk through the jaw-dropping Cliffside, and head through the Saal forests. The route builds up strange willpower, which backs up the energy to deal with the adventure at a higher altitude.

In these cases, we deduct the expenses that will have been spent and refund the remaining parts. -Our agency will not be responsible for your activities you commit against the government policy or against the law. We can't refund you if your trip will be cancelled due to unlawful activities. -Your travel insurance is a mandatory part, especially the trekking in Nepal Himalayas. Insurance helps you to be evacuated, and in case you don't have insurance, you will be responsible for the cost of your evacuation. -For trekking and peak climbing, you need permits and paperwork. 1Arrival in Kathmandu and shift-in to Hotel

There will be a warm welcome to you on Nepal after landing your flight at TIA. Representative of Shiva Excursion Pvt. Ltd. will there for your arrival. He/she will shift you toward your place of accommodation. After having rest for some time there will a brief description of the upcoming program with your guide.

Sightseeing of Kathmandu Valley

Our today’s day is spent by sightseeing all around Kathmandu Valley. Having a breakfast we will visit Pashupatinath (regarded as the holiest temple of Lord Shiva). Next will be Bauddhanath (Little Tibet). Then Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple) is our next destination. Lastly we will drive to Kathmandu (Basantpur) Durbar Square. It will end our Kathmandu tour we will return back & make preparation for our trekking.

Kathmandu to Machha Khola

Shiva Excursion Pvt. Ltd will arrange transportation upto Machha Khola from Kathmandu. Guide and porters will also travel with you. It will be a thrilling drive up to Machhakhola. It could take almost 10 hours of drive.

Machha Khola to Jagat (1340m) – 6 Hours

From Machha Khola, we head our walk to Khrola Besi. We will walk to Tatopani. Over here we can enjoy natural hot spring water. Being fresh we will again continue our track of forest and reach Dovan. Again we will walk ahead to Jagat for our night at tented camp in the fresh natural environment. We have to walk on the road most of the time.

Jagat to Deng(1860m) – 7 Hours

In the rocky trail, we will walk to Ngyak. It is an entrance of the Manaslu conservation area after crossing the long suspension bridge. Walking on the Humpty Dumpty trial of forest walk will be so much interesting. In our way, we will be offered with the Dramatic view of Shringi Himal. We will spend a night at the bank of Kaligandaki river.

Deng to Namrung (2600m) – 7 Hours

After having breakfast, we resume walking towards. We will be walking through forest upstream of the River & a newly built rock tunnel. In this way, we will finally reach Ghap for Lunch. The last part of the day will be complicated due to steep up, but shadow of trees and clod wind will help to push.

Namrung to Shyala (3400m) – 6 Hours

As we walk on the way, the glimpses of mountains can be experienced from very near. We will be walking above the altitude line. So, to minimize the risk of altitude, we will walk slowly. We will reach Lho village for our lunch. We will visit monastries there after a lunch and continue to trek until we reach Shyala. The panoramic view from Shyala is mesmerizing.

Shyala to Samagau (3500m) – 6 Hours

It will be a short day, if we trek only to samagaun. So, our plan will be to visit Pangen Gumba on the way. Pangen Gompa lies on the lap of Mt. Manasalu. We will trek to gompa for magnificent view of Manasalu and other mountains around it. Pangen Gompa itself is a historical place. After spend quality time there, we will trek to samagaun which is one of the biggest village in Manasalu Region.

Samagau Acclamatization Day

As we are gaining altitude every day, we need acclimatization and Samagaun is the perfect place to do it. We will start our day with our day back after the breakfast. We will visit monastries and Birendra lake during the day and back to Samagaun for the lunch. If we feel to walk more, we can continue our hike up to Malaropa cave or Manasalu Base Camp at max.

Samagaun to Samdo (3800m) - 3 hrs

It is a short and easy day of trek. The trail is comparatively gradually up and smooth to walk. We will follow the Kaligandaki river until we reach Samdo for Lunch. In Samdo, we can visit Tibetan refugee camp and their lifestyle.

Samdo to Dharmasala (4400m) - 8 hrs

The trail doesn't seem long as per the distance on KM, but will take almost 4 hrs to reach the Dharmasala from Samdo. The trail will be ascending most of the time. Somewhere the acend will be gentle, and somewhere it could be stepper. Due to the lack of big trees and vegetation, we could feel hard to breathing. The pressure of oxygen at atmosphere is low, so we need to walk slow and drink plenty of water to save our body from dehydration.

Cross Larkya La pass (5160m) and trek to Bhimthang (3590m) – 8 Hours

It is the biggest day of our trek. We will be at the highest point of the trek on this day. We will start our day on early morning to skip the wind at top of Larke la. Furthermore, we will walk slowly to give plenty of time to acclimatize the body at that elevation. Reaching on the top of the pass, we will be offered with a panoramic view of snow capped mountains. Then we descend to Bhimthang for our night.

Bhimthang to Dharapani – 6 Hours

Rounding up the Manasalu Circuit trekking route, it is time for returning. As we trek down from Bhimtang, Big trees & forests of rhododendrons will be our main walking path until we reach Goa. From Goa, we will follow the road to reach Dharapani.

Dharapani to Kathmandu

At a begning we will drive on muddy road up to Besisahar and drive continuously to Kathmandu through the prithivi highway. We will be pleased with the houses and greenery of the highway. Our lunch will be in the highway under the beauty of nature. Driving around nine hours, we will be at Kathmandu.

Farewell

Spending a rest night at Kathmandu, it’s a time for returning to your homeland. There will be a small farewell program for you. You will be guided all the things of returning journey by our team for your departure. Hope you will be back to Nepal to visit the remaining side of beautiful Nepal.

Sudip je ten nejlepší průvodce, jakého si můžete představit. Myslím a doufám, že se z nás během treku stali kamarádi. Je velmi chytrý, má velký přehled (nejen o Nepálu) a tak se s ním pobavíte opravdu o hodně věcech. Sudip mi byl oporou po celou dobu treku a nikdy jsem se necítila, že by mi něco chybělo. Během chození mi povídal o horách, které vidíme, hodně mi pověděl o nepálské kultuře, náboženství. Pokud jsme nepovídali, tak jsem si občas zazpívali se Spotify :D Když jsem potkala jiné lidi/skupinky na treku, tak se všichni divili, že mám tak fajn parťáka a ještě k tomu s takovou úrovní angličtiny :) Pokud bych šla další trek, Sudip by byl rozhodně člověk, se kterým bych další trek klidně znovu absolvovala. Takže doporučuji!
