Island Peak Climbing is a popular climbing the trekking peak in the Khumbu region of Nepal, which is also recognized as the Imja Tse. The Khumbu region is another distinctiveness of the Everest region, and it is full of higher and lower Himalayan peaks. Island Peak (6189 m) is a popular for the climbers before going to ascend the high Himalayan peaks as a physical practice and acclimatization. It is scenic and wonderful too, which is covered by the chunky level of snow.

More informationOnce you book the trip with Shiva Excursion, we follow it in the formal way, and we have some policies for trip cancelation or postpone. If you cancel the trip before 2 months, advance payment (i.e. 20%) will be nonrefundable. In case of 1 month, 30% of the total trip cost will be deducted 50% of the total trip cost will be deducted in 2 weeks time In less than 3 days, you will not be refunded the trip cost
Arrival to KathmanduThere will be a warm welcome to you on Nepal after landing your flight at TIA. Representative of Shiva Excursion Pvt. Ltd. will there for your arrival. He/she will shift you toward your place of accommodation. After having rest for some time there will a brief description of the upcoming program with your guide.Kathmandu exploration and preparation for trek.Our today’s day is spent by sightseeing all around Kathmandu Valley. Having a breakfast we will visit Pashupatinath (regarded as the holiest temple of Lord Shiva). Next will be Bauddhanath (Little Tibet). Then Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple) is our next destination. Lastly we will drive to Kathmandu (Basantpur) Durbar Square. It will end our Kathmandu tour we will return back & make preparation for our peak climbing.Fly to Lukla 2800m and trek to Phakding 2610m.With an early morning mountain flight to Lukla our journey starts. We will be offered with magnificent view of mountain ranges. Reaching on Lukla we take our luggage and begin our walking trek toward Phakding. It’s our first day so we don’t need to walk more than 3 to 4 hours.Phakding to Namche Bazaar 3440m.After having breakfast we continue our journey to Namche Bazaar. Following the main trial of Dudh Koshi River we will enter the area of Sagarmatha national park. Continuing our journey for about 5 to 6 hours finally we will be able to reach Namche bazzar for spending our memorable night.Rest at Namche BazaarToday is our rest day at Namche Bazaar. We need to accumulate our self for matching climatic condition of surrounding. In our leisure time we will visit several places around places over Namche bazaar. Knowledge of tradition & culture of local people of Namche Bazaar is very interesting is getting.Namche Bazaar to Tengboche 3800m.Accumulating our self with weather at Namche Bazaar Tengboche 3800m is our next walking destination. Quite close magnificent view of beautiful ranges of mountain will impress us in our journey. Playing on the nature unknowingly we will reach Tengboche for our night.Tengboche to Pheriche 4200m.Continuing our journey our next destination is Pheriche. The main trial is our walking path. Beauty of surrounding environment with other mountain ranges will be unforgettable of our trek. Including this the traditional & cultural village of bhote is very interesting. Lastly we will be at Pheriche 4200m for our night.Pheriche to Lobuche 4900 m.Early morning glorious view of sparkling mountains in rising sun will impress us so much. Walking slowly we will resume our remaining journey toward Lobuche. Our way is full of beauty of nature combined with panoramic view of high mountain ranges. It will be a memorable night spending on lobuche.9Trek to Kalapattar 5545m and back to Lobuche.It is our time for rest in Lobuche. We will hike up to Kalapattar & visit Gorak shep. Spending our some of the precious time we need to return back to our place. We will spend our whole day sightseeing around the places. Lastly we will be back to our place for spending our night.Lobucche to Dingboche 4300m.From Lobucche our next destination is Dingboche. Zigzag trial will be our main walking path. Mountain ranges are very close and are very impressive. We will rest in several view point. For memory we can take picture and capture with us. In this way we will lastly we will be at Dingboche for our night.Dingboche to chukung 4730m.Chukung is our next destination on which we will walk through the main walking track. The surrounding pasture land is used by local people. Beauty of nature can be seen all around us. Walking for about 4 to 5 hours we will be at Chukung 4730 m. Our today’s night may be at tented camp with full of fun.Chukung to Island peak Base Camp 5000m.Our real climbing starts from Chukung as our next destination is Island peak base camp. We need to have a gradual climb for short period of time. In our way we will be impressed with the spectacular view of beautiful surrounding. Our night will be exhilarating at Island peak base camp in a tented camp.Base camp to High camp 5300m.Our today’s hike will be up to High camp 5300m. Professional trekkers can make the attempt to the summit directly from the base camp. We are beginners so we need to accumulate our self in high camp. Walking on snowy path finally we will be at high Camp for rest.High Camp to summit 6160m and back to base camp.Today is the day of fulfilling our program. We will climb up to summits & return back to the base camp. It will be a long climb as we need to return back to base camp. Without stopping we will continue until we reach on the top of Island peak. On reaching on top we will be offered with panoramic view all around us. We will be impressed with this. Spending our few precious time it will be time of our returning Journey. For memory we will capture picture in our camera. Lastly we will return back & spend a relaxing night at land of Himalayas.Base Camp to Tengboche 3800m.It is the time of returning journey after completing our dream project. We will return back through the same track. We will be fully relaxed as our returning journey is very easy. We will be offered with the same things but our looking angle will be different. We will rest fully as we have just climbed up Island peak.Tengboche to Namche BazarIn our returning journey it will be so much easy in walking. We just need to trek downward following the main trial to reach Namche Bazaar. The same beauty of nature with mountain ranges from different angel will be so much impressive. Continuing in downhill track we will reach Namche Bazar.Namche Bazar to LuklaOur today’s walk will be the last walk of our climb. We will walk through the main trial of Dudh Koshi River. We will be at Sagarmatha National Park. On reaching Lukla we will make confirmation of our tomorrow’s flight to Kathmandu and rest the remaining time.Lukla to KathmanduWe will have early morning flight toward Kathmandu. It will be about 1 Hr. in one hour duration we will feel as if we are flying in heaven. We will be flying above the beautiful ranges of mountains. Lastly we will be shifted toward our hotel for our night and make preparation for tomorrow’s flight.FarewellSpending a rest night at Kathmandu, it’s a time for returning back to your home land. There will be a small farewell program for you. You will be guided all the things of returning journey by our team for your departure. Hope you will be back to Nepal to visit the remaining side of beautiful Nepal.
