AccomodationHotels will be provided throughout the tour, with shared rooms for two people, each equipped with an attached bathroom. Both shower and bucket bath options will be available. There will be camping while trekking to Rakaposhi Peak Base Camp.
MealsWe provide breakfast and dinner, giving you the flexibility to choose your meals for the day. Both meals will feature a variety of traditional Pakistani dishes, including chicken, mutton, beef, vegetables, lentils, rice, and bread.
TransportationWe select the mode of transport based on the number of participants in the tour. Additionally, the itinerary includes one domestic flight.
Difficulty The trek to Fairy Meadows is moderate, with a well-marked trail and gradual ascent, suitable for most trekkers. The hike to Rakaposhi Base Camp is more challenging, involving steep climbs, rugged terrain, and altitude. It requires a higher level of fitness and experience in mountain trekking. Proper acclimatization and preparation are essential for the Rakaposhi Base Camp portion.
Day 1: Arrival in IslamabadPick up from Islamabad International Airport and transfer to hotel. City tour of Islamabad (subject to flight arrival timings). Overnight stay in Islamabad. Day 2: Flight to Gilgit and Transfer to MinapinMorning flight from Islamabad to Gilgit (approx. 45 mins). Visit the Kargha Buddha Archaeological Site. Drive to Minapin Valley (99 km via Karakoram Highway). Stop at the Old Silk Route viewpoint and Rakaposhi Peak viewpoint (7,788 m). Overnight stay at Minapin. In Case of Flight Cancellation Alternative: Islamabad to Chilas After an early breakfast, drive to Chilas via the motorway. Lunch at Islamabad / Rawalpindi Food Street. Continue driving to Besham along the Karakoram Highway. Overnight stay in Chilas.Day 3: Trek to Hapakun Base Camp (Option A)After breakfast, trek to Hapakun Base Camp, located beneath Rakaposhi Peak (7,788 m). Return to the hotel in the evening and then drive to Hunza Valley (30 mins). In Case of Flight Cancellation Alternative: Chilas to Minapin Nagar Valley After breakfast, drive to Nagar Valley via Karakoram Highway. Lunch in Chilas, with sightseeing along the way: Junction of 3 Highest Mountain Ranges. Nanga Parbat (8,126 m) viewpoint. Overnight stay in Minapin.Day 4: Trek to Rakaposhi Base CampAfter breakfast, trek towards Rakaposhi Base Camp. Enjoy the glacier’s breathtaking beauty and the view of the 7,788 m peak. Camp overnight at Rakaposhi Base Camp.Day 5: Return to Minapin VillageTrek back from Rakaposhi Base Camp to Minapin Village. Overnight stay and relax at the hotel.Day 6: Drive to Upper Hunza ValleyContinue driving on the Karakoram Highway, visiting: Attabad Lake and Tunnel (boating). Passu Cones and Passu Village. Viewpoints of Passu and Batura Glacier. Gulmit, Khyber Villages, Sost Bazar, Dry Port. Hussaini Suspension Bridge. Trek to Passu Glacier (2 hrs). Overnight stay at Upper Hunza Valley.Day 7: Hunza to Fairy MeadowsDrive to Raikot Bridge, followed by a jeep ride to Tattoo Valley. Lunch at Tattoo Valley and trek to Fairy Meadows. Overnight stay at Fairy Meadows Cottage.Day 8: Trek to Nanga Parbat Base CampEarly morning, trek to Nanga Parbat Base Camp (8,126 m). Enjoy spectacular views of the peak and glacier, passing the famous Beyal Camp. Return to Beyal Camp for an overnight stay.Day 9: Trek to Diamer Face of Nanga ParbatEarly morning trek to the viewpoint of the Diamer Face of Nanga Parbat. Return to Fairy Meadows for an overnight stay.Day 10: Fairy Meadows to ChilasAfter breakfast, trek back to Tattoo Valley. Drive from Tattoo Valley to Raikot Bridge and proceed to Chilas for an overnight stay.Day 11: Chilas to IslamabadAfter breakfast, drive back to Islamabad via the Karakoram Highway. Visit Shatial Bazar (archaeological site) on the way. Arrive in Islamabad at night for an overnight stay. Day 12: Departure from IslamabadAfter breakfast, transfer to Islamabad International Airport.
