More informationDuring peak seasons (March, April, May, September, October, and November), flights to Lukla are operated from Ramechhap/Manthali due to air traffic congestion in Kathmandu. Manthali is a 5 to 6-hour drive from Kathmandu. In non-peak seasons (January, February, June, July, August, and December), flights depart from Kathmandu.
